The males in both series are also kickass you will love em! The females in Magi are kickass, especially the female lead imo. The lead male characters have strong bonds and friendship/brotherly relationship in both manga. They are definitely strong (physically and mentally) and likeable they dont lose to the males at all.īoth male and females can fight, and kick ass. They don't cry for help, they are far from being damsels in distress. They both contain kickass awesome female characters that dont suck at all. They both contain special abilities/powers (alchemy and some swords/weapons in FMA, magic and swords/weapons in Magi). They both have dark/gorey aspects yet a cheerful warm side as well. Both have themes of evil and sin, humanity, brotherhood ( brotherly relationship ), friendship, greed. have a lot more similarities you'll notice while reading.īe prepared for a long journey and an amazing ride in both :) read moreīoth have serious moments, some gore, tragedic moments, sad moments, yet also comic relief that will make you crack up. involve twists and turns, enemies becoming allies, allies becoming enemies. have an "evil" kind of organisation threatening the world whose goals become clearer throughout the series. ![]() Sinbad could be compared to Roy (idealists, wanting to change the world by being the Ruler) Strong females in both (Riza, Winry, Armstrong etc in FMA, Morgiana, Kougyoku, Yamuraiha etc. a protagonist duo with one guy who is more fired-up (Ed/Alibaba) and another who is laid-back (Aladdin/Al). Good/Evil are questioned throughout the whole series, as well as God, the purpose of Life and similar themes. are very philosophical and aren't simply black/white. start out lighthearted but are very dark in the core. It does not simply revolve around being stronger and stronger, but have much more meaningful goals. ![]()
